Thank you for visiting our website. After a time of revamping and re-organization, the WFI is back and we are very excited about our plans for the future. To those who have supported us during our renewal efforts, we say THANK YOU! and to those who will be joining, we hope to provide a source of education, fun and a place where the works of filmmakers the world over will have a forum to share and be recognized for their achievements in the art of film.

The WORLD FILM INSTITUTE (WFI) is a non-profit foundation focusing on the advancement and recognition of multi-national filmmaking and entertainment. Through the INSTITUTE'S many programs such as international festivals and events, seminars and training for members, mentoring, scholarships, resources and advanced technological support, the needs of independent filmmakers around the world will be fulfilled. Country by country, the understanding between cultures around the world will grow through the world of film.

Building the Institute and attaining these goals will be very exciting and we invite anyone with a love of film to join us and reach around the world.
